Go ahead and ignore the facts. You obviously know nothing about production operations or waterfloods. The shut-in wells are taken into account as the reported numbers that is why you look at trends and do not focus on a point in time. Why don't you put your own bid in on these assets and then you could apply your vast knowledge to runnning the field? The production history on all of these wells is pubic information.
