Not true.  The 228 has full approval for six aircraft models under TCCA (Canada) and one each for the other three jurisdictions.  We also have some units installed.  In fact, Netjets installed 13 of their 30 unit order BEFORE full approval was granted.  Going from provisional to full approval is a foregone conclusion.  Airlines are not going to wait for full approval, given that each aircraft is only  available for such an installation every couple of years.  Has Flyht ever failed to get full approval?  Don't think so.

I do not know the numbers but I am sure there is plenty of inventory left to satisfy new 220 orders.  Most airlines are going to order 228s from now on in any case.  Keeping too much inventory when the plan is to stop producing them down the road is bad management and can be a significant irretrievable cost.
