If you look at the designations for the drill holes, you will see three different catagories.
SP - drilling designed to explore for deposits - new deposits, expanding the size of a deposit and infill drilling to prove up ounces.
SG - technological drilling looking for different types of information to further the companies knowledge of the site. ie. type of rock and suitability for a pit wall. or maybe to test the techniques for extracting the minerals from the rock.
SD - drilling to make sure the area being considered as a location for buildings, or an airstrip or other assets are void of any mineable deposits.
The just released drill results contained all three types of drilling.
Many of the holes were not expected to yield mineralization. But had to be reported.
If you look at some of the SG holes, they were expected to test the pit wall rock and they found mineralization.
So knowing what they were expecting from the three types of holes makes a big differance.
