Mr. Marvin Mitchell, P. Eng.
Mr. Mitchell is an independent technical consultant who received his degree from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology in 1968 (formerly Montana School of Mines).
He has over 38 years experience in the mineral exploration industry including 8 years as Exploration Manager for the Minerals Division of Ranger Oil Ltd. and is a registered professional engineer in the Province of British Columbia.
Mr. Gerald Rayner, P. Eng.
Mr. Rayner is an independent technical consultant who has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry and has practiced his profession on every continent except Antarctica. The bulk of his time has been spent in Western North America including Mexico and Central America, in Australia and the South Pacific, including Indonesia and other parts of Asia, and in various South American countries.
Mr. Rayner’s primary areas of expertise lie in reconnaissance exploration and in the evaluation of mineral properties at the earlier stages of exploration and development. While with Kennecott, Mr. Rayner was in charge of exploration in Papua New Guinea in the South Pacific where efforts during this period resulted in the discovery of several porphyry copper deposits including the Ok Tedi Mine.
Dr. Michel Boily, M.Sc, Ph.D, P.Geo
Dr. Boily is an expert geochemist and metallogenist specializing in the interpretation of precious and rare metal deposits of Precambrian volcano-plutonic terranes. He also conducted exploration and technical evaluation of gold and base metals properties located in Archean greenstone belts of Quebec, in the Anti-Atlas Proterozoic windows of Morocco, in Northern Mexico and Argentina. Dr. Boily graduated from the Universite de Montreal in 1988 with a PhD in geochemistry. Since 1984, Dr. Boily has been the author of various publications in international scientific journals and has written numerous technical reports. Dr. Boily is currently a registered Professional Geologist in good standing with l’Ordre des Geologues du Quebec.
Mr. R. Bruce Duncan
Mr. Duncan brings over thirty years of experience in the capital markets and brokerage industry and is the Principal of West Oak Capital Partners Inc., which provides strategic advisory services, including identifying and qualifying merger and acquisition candidates and advising in public transactions. Mr. Duncan’s client base has included financial services, aviation, mining, oil and gas, logistics, and retail industries. Mr. Duncan currently sits on the boards of several private companies and is the Executive Chairman for Canada Carbon Inc. (CCB:TSX-V), CEO of Evolving Gold Corp. (EVG:TSX), Executive Chairman of Canada Coal Inc., (CCK:TSX-V), and the former CEO and Director of Prosperity Goldfields Corp. (PPG:TSX-V).
Mr. Don McKinnon
Mr. McKinnon has been involved in the mining exploration industry since a very young age. Son of Don McKinnon Sr., of Hemlo fame, Mr. McKinnon has been actively exploring mining properties in Ontario and internationally. This includes having been involved in managing all aspects of exploration from property acquisition and grass roots exploration, to seeing projects through to the development stage. Mr. McKinnon also has an extensive network of business associates throughout Canada as well as internationally.
Dr. Tom McCandless, Ph.D., P.Geo
Dr. Tom McCandless has over 30 years of mineral exploration experience, specializing in diamond exploration. He has a Master of Science and Ph.D. degree in geology, and a wide range of experience that includes employment as Chief Mineralogist for Superior Minerals, Ashton Mining of Canada, and Stornoway Diamonds Corporation. Since 2008 he is a consulting geologist for MCC Geoscience Inc. He is a registered Professional Geologist with APEGBC and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Dr. McCandless has published extensively on the geochemistry of PGE, base metal, gold and diamond deposits, and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta and the University of Arizona.
