RE:Pipeline Pondering

RE:Pipeline PonderingThe Jacos project you are referring to is a partnership between Jacos and Nexen and there is also another pipeline being build for AOC along the same corridor. The initial volumes for Jacos/ Nexen are around 18,000 bbl/day and going to 40,000 bbl/day down the road I believe. STP's SAGD plant is probably 100 to 125 km away from their as the crow flies. The nearest Enbridge terminal to STP is the Athabasca terminal which is located just outside of Suncors main plant. In order for STP to connect to the Athabasca terminal they would need to build a pipeline that would be 40 to 60 km long and it would cost probably 125to 150 million unless they can tie into someone eleses line up their( I know Dover has or had something planned in that area). I am sure STP will look at building a pipeline down the road should they go ahead with their expansion.

I am am currently working on the Jacos / Nexen project  which connects to Cheecham terminal and we are planning on clearing the ROW this winter and we are scheduled to start the facility construction this summer and the mainline construction next winter.

Hope or that helps.
