Exploration Activities

The Company has exploration programs ongoing at Mina Real to identify future mill feed for operations.

At the Tajos Cuates Mine area, development work was focussed at the Hundido, Arrayan, Chalata, Socavón levels. The work programs have concentrated on developing various veins via cross cuts. At the Florida NW Mine area work was ongoing to develop various stopes to provide mill feed.

At the San Francisco Project area, work was ongoing on the development of exploration ramps and working faces. The work focussed on the Lluvia de Oro area and at the Agua Negra area.

With construction of a new road into the Santa Fe Project area, work was able to move forward. The first activity completed was clean-up of old dump material from historical operations prior to the Company’s involvement in this project. Approximately 7,000 tonnes of mineralized material was hauled to the plant and processed. The first area to be explored with development of an adit and drifts and cross cuts is the El Lizo vein.
