A good read and applicable to BGMhttps://ceo.ca/brent-cook-pvg-june-16-2013/
In addition to the model problems with these short length vein swarms like at CM, throw in the fact that a tremendous amount of existing underground mining has taken place. As I have said before, a primary issue I see with the current resource is that No geologic model was taken into account and that as near as I can tell, the calculations in the report don't adress all the void space created from historical mining... As you remember, several of the Twin holes ....
"
completed 14 surface diamond drill holes of which 9 were completed twin holes totaling 2,759.4 meters ( feet) on Cow Mountain at the Cariboo Gold Project near Wells, central BC between September 22 and October 14, 2012. The tot9,053.1al footage includes 5 drill holes abandoned due to hitting shafts and/or underground workings before target." From press release dated October 19,2012. As investors wanting to understand the validity of the resource should ask "What about these kreig blocks... if it counts ore where it has been already mined, is the value any good?" I have not seen any kreig blocks that show mined out "Void" areas. Longs talk about the historical oz's mined, yet don't want to recognize that it is an important part of the resouce calculation. They know where the drifts run, they have been surveyed. why not include mined out areas in the kreig block?
I just find it odd and it is only an opinion, but to me, when I look at these things, I wonder who decided not to model in historical mining.... Just gotta wonder!
