teh cpp could easily do sprott type loans with reasonable interest not 12%.
China buys all the gold from every chinese gold miner and buys companies from time to time.
state owned resources are not a bad idea when times get this tough as these companies are all getting sold or diluted, merged, investors getting crushed.

canada would have so much gold in the mint for very very cheap and huge land holdings of oil/gas/gold if they were smart.
instead they spend billions on Reits or buy 20% of the shares ? why not be part owners of the comanies like gold miners in other countries?
