Tenements and gravity surveys
Tenements and gravity surveysPGD has tenements expiring in 2014 and beyond. The slow pace of exploration could hurt them soon. De Beers reported, and most explorationists know that gravity geophysics surveys are the best for finding kimberlites. Gedex has a system in a fixed wing aircraft that could fly low in this terrain. The system has sufficiently low noise to find the big kimberlites quickly. The company is also operated by the former top geophysicist in all of De Beers. He will know what to do.
These surveys are expensive, but they find kimberlites FAST. Not sure if Gedex does, but some companies with this equipment will fly the survey for less cost but for equity.
The value and volume of the diamonds in the ground now should make shareholders buying at current levels very happy. However if PGD could find some more and larger diamondiferous kimberlites, then Chidliak would be a home run.
Gravity surveys are the key. We need some velocity in this project. PGD are now masters of their own destiny and could do this. They need to do this before tenements are relinqued or risk a DO27 type arrangement happening to them.
