appleIt appears that the only thing holding Apple back to sign as well is the prior settlement between Samsung and WIN. I can only hope WIN made a very good deal with Samsung in exchange for Samsung's tactical advantage.

DJ Wi-Lan Reaches Another Patent Deal; Apple Looms -- Market Talk
6:14 EDT - Wi-Lan (WLAN) has been on quite the legal-cleanup tear of late. After reaching terms last week with BlackBerry (BBRY) and Sierra Wireless (SWIR) to settle pending patent litigation, WLAN has now reached a deal with Hewlett-Packard (HPQ). The IP licensor, which has deals with more than 260 companies, has sued a host of smartphone and tablet makers over the years over technologies such as Bluetooth and LTE. One big target WLAN hasn´t yet come to terms with is Apple (AAPL). And seeing its ongoing battle with rival Samsung (005930.SE), chances are WLAN and AAPL reaching a deal won´t be easy.
