Why do I feel that way?
Why do I feel that way?
Hey Jim,
We discussed several times about ALYI great future and how technology will change the way we do business in the near future.
Why do I feel so depressed when I look at the stock performance. You told me something is brewing behind the scenes, but 1 month later the stock performance is telling otherwise.
Same people at the wheel, same boat sinking. I feel like a passenger on the Concordia being told that everything is alright on the ship while all the officers are running like crazy to jump off the ship!
Even the IR guy (who is paid too much for he what is told to do and to say!) told me that in September (THAT was last month buddy! - but right ....you know details are still negociated and you know with lawyers something things can get easily out of control,,, bla bla bla) shareholders would see the NEW ALYI emerged from the pact with a three way merger with Utiba Americas and Utiba.
We are October 15th and still nothing to report. Digicel launched successfully their program in Haiti and are supposed to roll it into several South American countries. And nothing to report.
Oh yeah! Busy negociating the next management bonus and options granting.....
End of the year is coming and the next excuse that the IR will come will be about tax loss selling.... (What about the millions of stock sold short in the past year, will they eventually by back? ( no shorter is keeping a short position that long). Anyway, all excuses are good especially when blaming the lousy stock market, and small caps being out of favor, etc.
Jim, you must be a multimillionnaire who does not give a damn about losing a fortune on a stock or on a story to be here tirelessly and promote this stock. Even if you bought 5 years ago at 5 cents, you are right now losing money (20% of your investment) which is not a good thing. I trade futures and commodities and my exit point is usually closer to 2 / 3% max! As an investor, I have a different strategy I tend to invest and rarely speculate. I hold as a long as I can.
Anyway, just ventilating like others on this board.

Congrats to Oats who saw that coming in 2012 and was right again in 2013. But I am sure, that like me, you would prefer being rich than being right!
