This is crazyI know it seems crazy, but dont forget this Latinoamerica, not a first world country. So we should expect some noise always, and mining is not an easy business worldwide.
I expect that we would have an oficial position and release from colombian authorities in the next two weeks. Dont forget that this is an extremely important issue that involves huge investments already advanced, and colombia government will have serious problems if decides to expand the park and expropiate 20 million ounces of gold from the companies. Also, dont forget that Arabs are also involved in oil and gas, which is a sector that colombia wants to promote. Qatar funds has an important stake in AUX.
This would be a 10 billion dollars cost decision to colombian government, if it has to face an international court for expropiation.
In the meanwhile, I think it would be possitive if somebody make some noise in the local media regarding that government would face an international court demand from mining companies if intends to expropiate 20 million ounces of gold if decides to expand the park and cancels the projects. That would make government allign and stepback from any intention.
Lets be possitive,
