RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:what's up with HLP.Un SP...
To be fair, a dividend hike is hard to predict..it would be welcome alright, but it already is at a pretty generous percentage given the stock price..but it definitely is a possibility. What we have to remember is that we have an aging population, and the need for facilities that HLP provide will always be in demand.Another very good thing is that the properties that they have acquired are all relatively new, and should require very little expenditures for many years, other than normal day to day maintenance, and that is a huge plus. Again, my feelings on the short sellers are this..they may make a few bucks here and there, but often when a stock starts to move they are caught with their pants down and have to scramble, sometimes at a dramatic loss, which could in turn wipe out any gains they may or may not have made..not my cup of tea..i prefer the slow and steady approach, and will take profits along the way too.I firmly beleive this stock has a lot of upside potential yet. However, this is only my opinion..As stated in earlier posts, I think the jittery US situation was responsible for this stock losing some of its lustre, but i'm hopeful, for now, that that is behind us..good luck to all
