That was the knee-jerk assumption that sellers made upon the news, but after looking at the details, it becomes clear that the integrity of the project is NOT in doubt AT ALL. After listening to the Q&A during the Tumazos presentation (link HERE), the respect for process and attention to detail is obvious and should comfort investors in this unique resource. What's at issue is choice of approved method, not integrity.

Mr. Ovsenek states repeatedly that the bulk sample is being shipped and processed, the data will be out in early Nov, and Strathcona is being asked to bring their marbles back to the game and do the job they were asked to do. (Failing that, Pretium might be justified in pursuing legal action, particularly in context of the incredible and unnecessary drain in market cap.) In the meantime, what should matter to investors is those bulk sample results. I for one am excited. I don't believe any fund manager with a serious view to fundamentals would be selling now.
