RE:RE:RE:Many of us are now bidding and buyingThank you for replying to my post ramblerest. Normally I'm given all ones and ignored. Sometimes the Stockhouse members who don't pump the stock are called names like idiots or morons. The fact that you have responded to me is very nice of you. Lets start an open discussion about Rochester Resources. Oh and I must say that maybe I am negative but I certainly don't know it all. I actually consider myself more of a realist.
Maybe you're right. Maybe it's absurd for Rochester to suspend mining. Though Wesdome did it with Kiena as soon as gold was clearly dropping below profitability. Wesdome said they did it to preserve their cash even though there was great potential in the Kiena property.
Rochester Resources started production back around 2006, so they are not a new company in my opinion. Rochester started without a multi million dollar drilling campain, without a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate, with a feasibility study. This is why they ran out of mill feed in the past!!!
Rochester started from pennies, went to dollars and back to pennies. I am losing track of time but probably in the last five years, Rochester has gone from around 30 million shares outstanding to over 100 million.
I have no clue how much gold and silver is in the ground. The company did have a fancy presentation with some huge predictions. This was around the time Rochester did a massive pp, raised millions of dollars and planned for an over 20000 meter drill campain in order to produce a robust NI 43-101. But that was all removed after the drill results started coming in... The drill results really put a wet blanket on the story. I wrote about this with Florida NW. When the company did drill, the drill results showed that Rochester was out to lunch with what they thought was in the ground.
So that's the way I see it. Rochester Resources needs gold and silver to go back up quickly. Probably to around 30 dollars an ounce. Or they need someone with lots of cash to take them over. Or they need to do a massive pp again because they are losing big money. If you don't believe me, wait for the upcoming sedar filing... you'll see!
