It would appear that the Tintic Mining District is South West of Provo, Utah. It is semi arrid there, so I doubt they get much snow.
The name Andover has always been a strange name for a mining company; I haven't a clue what it is supposed to stand for. Maybe they could rename it Doolittle Mining Co. Waiting on news that never seems to materialize would then make some sense.
