163,000 shares of buying was enough to send Newstrike Capital Inc. (TSXV:NES), a Vancouver-based, Mexico-focused gold exploration company run by Richard Whittle and backed by the Lundin Group, up 13 cents or 15.6% Monday.
Last Thursday, Newstrike announced that an airborne geophysical survey flown over the company’s Aurea Norte property generated fifteen high priority exploration targets, and that a 5,000 meter early stage drill program which will test a selection of these anomalies is now underway.
