RE:RE:TOP PICK ON BNN JUST NOW :)
Bill Bonner proved a lot of opinions wrong (Stephenson, Harris, Carrasco, Octagon etc) including myself. Calling a $1.75 bottom was close but Bonner trumped everybody with his informed belief that TBE's model was not only sustainable but is one of the better models in the WCSB. Now they are making a large move into higher netback medium oil which is probably going to set up for steady growth (3-5% ? Fink, Fagerheim and Colborne others are doing this), lower decline rates, improved cash flow ($230 million annually @$95 WTI?) and math that suggests a dividend increase.I am now reducing my position in RE... still a great play but now fully valued and will consider increasing my TBE position once the Black Shire deal closes and a new presentation gets uploaded. Mud, North: back in the day when we were buying shares at .45, .55 etc. seemed like no one cared about TBE. Once the selloff from $3 down to $1.60 happened amid the production decline from 19,200 boe/d to 16,200 boe/d I thought TBE was too risky,a probable train wreck. Maybe now the ship can sail.
