The country is watching Study on restructuring
Ole Magnus Fron Municipality Local Government - Government and Regional Development was one of the participants in the meeting.
Innovation Norway to Meloy to learn more about restructuring.
National Center for regional restructuring of Innovation Norway, together with representatives from the Local Government and Regional Development and Nordland County Council, was on Friday 23 August was a study in Meloy to learn from the experiences Meloy has made that adjustment municipality.
In Meloy, participants meet restructuring the board, municipal administration and politicians. It was the knowledge of municipal challenges associated with restructuring and tips on what can be done differently to facilitate the work of municipalities that end up in the same situation as Meloy. Among 
other things, they learned about the challenges around organizing restructuring efforts, a comprehensive regulatory and VAT compensation. Ole Marius Fron Municipality of Local Government and Regional Development responded by saying that Meloy is special and plowing new ground in many areas, and asked Meloy Development Ministry KF provide written feedback on the challenges that have arisen.
The visit to Meloy is part of a study of selected restructuring municipalities in Nordland. The day before the participants visited Flakstad.
