Big Guys Moving Out = More Oil for Little Guys

Big Guys Moving Out = More Oil for Little GuysAn important point to note is that Mart's corporate structure/culture is different  - much different than the "Big Guys".

Let's face it, Mart appears to be substantially more progressive.

In the wake of failure/retreat of older companies comes opportunity for new emerging companies.  Mart is playing the emerging market game.  Nigeria is more of an emerging market these days than a bunch of villagers open to exploitation. Shell is a master of third world exploitation, a strategy that just doesn't work anymore.  The big saturated oil firms that used to work in Nigeria are not adapting to the changes of Nigeria - but Mart  - is equipt to manage in the new political and economic climate.

This is the challange of Nigeria - keeping pace with the political and economic changes.  Mart has thrived in this climate and the big guys are clearly not able to navigate these waters and are heading back to shore.
