RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Bill Bonner top pickYes, they do buy only whole shares (no fraction of shares), but if there is an amount left over they just deposit it to my cash balance.  For example, if the distribution was $100 and the DRIP price was $2.10 then I would receive 47 shares (for $98.70) and the balance left over ($1.30) would be deposited to my cash balance.

 I don't really understand the statement 'they keep everything after the decimal for themselves' --do some brokers really do that?
