Verdal Well - Tetuan gas discovery

Verdal Well - Tetuan gas discovery
If you look back at old presentations, the gas discovery at Verdal was potentially huge.  They estimated about 700Bcf in a net pay of about 400ft, relatively shallow.  It even flowed 770K cf/d, but the formation collapsed and they could not maintain flow.  If they were to take cores this time around and find the orientation of the fractures, and even deviate the well a fair amount, they could up the flow rates a fair bit if the formation integrity can be maintained.  Maybe fracking is even a possibility.  The follow-up commitment well is to be drilled there shortly.  I believe they will also still attempt to reach the Caballos primary target.  Could be an interesting well if they can actually drill it successfully for once.
