Finalization of the terms attached to this cancellation agreement wrapped up today with Alberta Oilsands receiving a letter from the province outlining details of the transaction.

Alberta Oilsands and the nine other companies relinquishing leases were also assured that they will be accorded suitable reimbursement in compliance with the Mineral Rights Compensation Regulation (MRCR) for said canceled leases. Alberta Oilsands and the others will spend next week finalizing the amounts of their compensation claims before submitting them to the proper authorities for payment.
