RE:RE:Whats Up?? ----.35
Sadest thing i have seen in a very long time. $60 mill in cash, issuer bid. However, silence from the BOD. Why bother being public when they say absolutely zero publicly.
"Now is the time to unlock the value of THAI" that was the comment when shares were spun out and trading at $1.25.
Sell the land to Baytex, kill the issuer bid and dividend out the cash to shareholders. We'd get almost double if they did that today!
Otherwise, the options are kill the THAI science experiment, conserve the cash and take advantage of the great situation in Nat Gas. The barriers to entry are incredible (Pine cliff's share price has doubled since their foray into the space) These guys have enough connections internationally and domestically to take advantage of companies pitching assets at these low valuations. Until some change of direction is initiated the mkt will flounder.
Other option which is out of shareholders hands, as is every other option is they get THAI right. If that happens, share price could 2x,3x,4x overnight. Possiblities internationally are endless if that happened. i can possibly recall a handfull of companies trading at half of cash in my 20 years of investing. All eventually managed to do very well as they allocated their money in dire times taking advantage of the cyclical nature of the business. How can this Team not be able to allocate $60 mill and turn into a $200+ mill opp.
