Twitter It all comes home to roost...except in Texas Twitter’s disclosure of a brewing patent dispute with tech giant IBM Corp. probably won’t derail its expected launch as a public company this week ...

In fact, Twitter said the IBM complaint, involving patents for technologies related to the way it presents advertising and “programmatic discovery of contacts,” is not the only intellectual property challenge it’s dealing with currently.
“We presently are involved in a number of intellectual property lawsuits, and as we face increasing competition and gain an increasingly high profile, we expect the number of patent and other intellectual property claims against us to grow,” Twitter said in its revised IPO filing.
