RE:Today's Announcement - There are two sides to every story

RE:Today's Announcement - There are two sides to every storyIt sounds like RPL insiders are beavering away at attempting to create that distinction. I do not in any context consider that Mr.George and assorted worthies are dissenting because they are concerned about retail shareholders. That concept is foreign to these corporate types - small shareholders are pawns to be used and manipulated for their own gain whether by proxie or by accessing the entities cash flow. They are, however, challenging the present BOD on issues important to all shareholders.

It is illuminating how quickly the present BOD began sucking up to shareholders when they discovered they could not avoid facing the owners of the company.

All in all, the Special Meeting will allow shareholders to support the lesser evil - the one that gives shareholders the greatest return for the least importunity. That is the relevant retail strategy - hooking on to the carpetbaggers coattails and going along for the ride in the hopes that the carpetbaggers can't steal it all.
