RE:RE:RE:Decision coming?Hi Larry, thanks for the reply and again I meant no disrespect by challenging your posts....and by no means was I implying that certain people should or should not post.
I too am an industry professional and know all to well the games and manipulation that go on in this industry. The market manipulation is usually fairly obvious to spot for anyone with some experience in the markets but some of the best and least obvious manipulation takes place off the market and on boards such as this by manipulating the emotions and minds of people that might be unsuspecting or simply aren't familiar with the games that are played.
A talented paid basher and/or promotor is much more discrete in approach than our buddy Rummy from the GWY board. Their goal is to win over the trust of the reader while planting the seed of their agenda, which in the case of a "basher" would be to plant a seed of doubt. Usually this is accompished by setting the stage with a series of insightful and positive posts in an effort to win over the audience and lead them to believe that, not only are you educated and analytical, but also that your interests are aligned with your audience. Once people start to follow or trust in your judgment and analysis it makes planting the seed of doubt much easier. Especially if people are aren't necessarily familiar with the ways of this industry.
I acknowledge I can be harsh towards some posters at times, it is usually out of frustration when the board gets bogged down by useless wishy washy posts that add no value. Everyone is free to post what they want at the end of the day, and I personally don't view it as a bad thing to challenge the posts of others because it can often provoke more insightful conversation which is much more productive than simpy labelling someone a basher. Anyway....enough about that and sorry for wasting everyones time with this rant, I just wanted to clear the air.
For anyone that stuck around long enough to reach this point of my post.....here is an article from Vanguardia last night with a rough machine translation. Looks like the interested parties are pushing for the decision to be delayed again if there is room to further negotiate the boundries.
While I certainly hope we get some news by Monday, as Schiff previously pointed out, nothing stays a secret in Colombia (or anywhere else in the capital markets for that matter) so the one thing that leads me to believe that we're not quite there yet is that the market action is not telegraphing a decision is forthcoming within the next couple of days. So I personally won't be holding my breath just yet. I maintain my position that the decision will ultmately be positive for EOM and that it's just a matter of timing....

Although they have not finalized details, no date has been confirmed, Soto North, in Santander province, miners ready to enter indefinite stoppage last choice for the Ministry of the environment take into account his proposal: the miners requested that the line from Moor is the same of the Regional Natural Park.
Leaders told Vanguardia.com that the blockade of the road leading to Cucuta, in the corregimiento of Berlin, in the municipality of Tona, Santander, Bucaramanga would be the last letter which inhabitants, farmers and miners in the Santander region will play.
The President of the Union of mining workers of Santander, Sintramisan, Freddy Gamboa, said that the community would not accept that the delimitation of the Páramo of Santurbán compromised more land that they already integrates line of Regional Natural Park.
“…The Park (Natural Regional) already meet objectives within which are safeguarding water resources and protect the high Andean forest, we do not see why the line (of the wasteland) has more extensive line of Natural Regional Park", said Freddy Gamboa.
In this regard, the Director of the autonomous Regional Corporation for the defence of the Bucaramanga plateau, CMDB, Ludwing Arley Anaya, said that if the population of Soto North to stop "it would be a very complex situation from the departmental and national point of view. looking for attention so they are heard within the process of delimitation of paramo We are aware that is not an easy decision... we have to enter a task of reconciliation with the population of Soto North. Routes are not in fact frowned, but are one of the mechanisms that the communities have to be heard."
Critical to the Minister
The miners spokesman added that, at the meeting with the Minister of environment, Luz Helena Sarmiento Villamizar, last week, the official expressed les different arguments to which they explained during his visit to Berlin last September 25. On that date, adds mining leader, the Minister said that on the line from Moor not can advance no farming or mining.
"It is evident that she is driving a slightly misleading speech. The Minister's speech is a speech to calm tempers of an affected community, but nothing more... We are not satisfied with the process that is underway with the Minister of the environment... ", said the President of the Union of mining workers of Santander.
Would be the only way to avoid an indefinite strike, according to Freddy Gamboa, "which the Minister Sarmiento Villamizar resumed the issue of establishing a dialogue table in it reaches the delimitation of the Páramo of Santurbán can be defined".
At the table of dialogue, proposed by the miners, hope the partition of "mayors of North Soto, the same actors that exert control and surveillance at the Ministry of the environment as it is the Attorney-General, Ministry of the Interior, Ombudsman of the people and the Presidency of the Republic, with the aim of designing a region economic and sustainable..."If you have to wait additional time to define this limitation I think that the parties (institutions and community) would accept it extends a little bit more than time, for a fair and dignified limitation".
In this regard, the President of the Council of California, Carlos Augusto Latorre Monroy, confirmed the intention to strike and expressed also the uncertainty of the community. "Do not know what will happen to our territory. Thinking on the area of Páramo will be larger is worrisome, because we can not give one inch of our territory by the social, economic and cultural part".
Although they will respect the March, miners denounce political interests
Before the March, which will be held this Friday in Bucaramanga in order to promote the defense of the Santurbán Moor and the protection of water, Freddy Gamboa accurate that the miners will respect the mobilization.
"Whenever a March have real objective the conservation and preservation of water resources, all citizens are to join the March or any manifestation. Unfortunately the Committee for the defense of water and the Santurbán Moor and the conscientious citizen Committee are organising a March with a tinge of politicking, of prominence that seeks the administrative, political and economic benefit of some people', said Freddy Gamboa.
The President of Sintramisan for organizing committees "that are generating just a confrontation between North Soto province and the town of Bucaramanga".
In turn, the President of the Council of California, explained that they intended to "enter into disagreement with anyone... At this time we are concerned by the line from Moor and nothing else, all depend on water and defend the water also. We appeal to the environmentalist so that they do not take advantage of the WWG
