Aquila financials – Yikes, let’s take up a collection

Aquila financials – Yikes, let’s take up a collectionThey are Broke.....

They have obligations of over $6-millon and about $50K in the bank – between Rebgold and Aquila combined? TQ spoke to the Township board this past week. The County Board Parks Commissioner was there. Told people afterwards the County would take every legal step possible including a lawsuit to protect the County Park – which you guys already know is right next to this pit. Also, here a mine would be within feet of the Menominee River, in an area of Federal and State recognized threatened and endangered species. Has Native American burial mounds and sites of significant archeological value. They would need to mine under the County Road, Oops that’s not legal so they would have to try and get it closed but that’s a long process and sure to involve a few lawsuits. Not to mention they wanted the County tax payers to pay for an alternative route.  Then there is the lights, noise, dust and vibrations 24-hours a day 7-days a week. County Park lawsuit. Cyanide? Ain’t going to happen…… J
