RE:RE:RE:RE:Colossus stream probably died todayWell, believe it or not, I for one will be sorry to see you go. Contrary opinons backed up by facts are always welcome and useful. What is not useful are juvenile rants or ad hominem attacks on management simply because they made some calls you disagree with.

If you bother to look back through record, you will see that I - along with virtually everyone else on the board - have in fact been very critical of the company when warranted, and have hardly attempted to "sugar-coat" its failures. I myself was in fact the first to point out that virtually every one of Sandstorm M&E's streams with the exception (until now) of the synergistic ones with Sandstorm Gold have run into serious trouble for one reason or another, and that is why I do not have nearly as much at stake with SND as with SAND. What money I have left on the table is likewise money that I can easily afford to lose, because as far as I am concerned, the business model (as applied to base metals & energy) remains unproven.

But it's going too far to suggest that the company is deliberately "blowing away" our money, especially by concluding (wrongly) that they do not have any financial stake in the outcome. They have a lot more at stake - and not just financially - than any of us do. Taking a loan out on their streams at this very early stage of the company's evolution (assuming it was even possible) in order to provide a dividend or to "attract investors" indicates that you do not understand even the most rudimentary aspects of the streaming business model, and yet you accuse the person who virtually invented it of having no confidence in it himself, and merely being a "conman."

The bald fact remains, if you don't have any confidence at all in Sandstorm's management, why have you waited so long to dump your investment? Who has been the real "sheep hoping for the better" here?
