NR - BobcatXS TECHNOLOGIES INC ("XST-V") - Bobcat(R) Selects MobileTrac John Way, President of XS Technologies (XST) is pleased to announce that Bobcat(R) of Calgary (a division of AR Williams Western Ltd.) has selected MobileTrac to be installed into Bobcat equipment to be demonstrated to 350 dealers/customers during a special Stampede round-up event today. Mr. Way is tremendously encouraged by their eagerness to employ MobileTrac products as it verifies the market interest and vastness of the opportunity for mobile asset protection devices. MobileTrac is being employed to address two pressing issues in the heavy equipment industry: theft prevention and location monitoring. Bobcat has chosen to pursue this trial with MobileTrac for their rental equipment division to protect their assets against in-field theft. Due to the 'mobile' nature of the equipment and a recent surge in thefts, an effective and affordable solution is required to ensure that their rental fleet remains working and secure. Based on anticipated positive results, Bobcat will become a MobileTrac reseller offering the product to all their customers. Industry estimates put the heavy equipment tracking and protection market in Western Canada alone in excess of $35 million Cdn over the next two years. XST has seen a significant increase in inquiries by businesses needing to protect heavy equipment in the oil and gas, construction and farming sectors due to a rise in thefts. MobileTrac asset and tracking products use GPS along with cellular, radio or satellite equipment to protect and manage people, vehicles and assets. MobileTrac systems offer up-to-the-minute protection, monitoring and reporting via on-demand tracking or event-based triggers. XST has MobileTrac distribution contracts in Canada, Uruguay, Australia, Cote d'Ivoire, Honduras, Bahamas and Taiwan worth over $8.2 million USD.
