ECUADOR Approves Drilling in AMAZON RAIN FOREST !!TID said at the CC that ECUADOR will need 40 rigs soon....This is why, TID will not only deploy its current 2 non working rigs in ECUADOR but it will need to MOVE rigs from its Brazilian idle rigs.
I do not know whether TID has the Amazon Rain Forest program in its mind or something else.
If it is the Amazon Rain Forest drilling program, then TID can also deploy its Brazilian HELI-RIGS in ECUADOR too, because we talk for drilling in AMAZON RAIN FOREST folks! The Parliament approved it in early OCTOBER !
The operations will be carried out by the STATE-OIL company which is also a reliable customer!
State oil company Petroamazonas will be in charge of extraction in blocks 43 and 31, which are estimated to hold 800 million barrels of crude and projected to yield 225,000 barrels per day eventually. Ecuador currently produces 540,000 bpd.
