RE:RE:Canada-Africa: The mines and the money Mylar, I'm not an economist. Having said that, I think if you would try to run a regression to try to predict the propensity of a country to be a great place to do business (your dependent variable or "Y"), using solely Canadian mining assets (as shown on the map) as a predictor (independant variable) would likely be not significant or if significant, the correlation would likely be spurious.  Again, I'm not an economist and I'm not as smart as most posters on this board, so don't take my words for the gospel.
