TransGaming delivers translation tech to customer

TRANSGAMING SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERS CORE TRANSLATION TECHNOLOGY TO PIONEERING CLOUD SERVICES PROVIDER
TransGaming Inc.'s licensing agreement for $1-million (U.S.), previously announced April 9, 2013, has been successfully delivered to its Fortune 1000 pioneering cloud services customer and payment has been received. This licensing agreement was based on the utilization of TransGaming's core translation technologies to enable select products to run on new platforms, including embedded System-on-Chip (SoC) based devices.
"We provided our customer with a version of our core Direct3DAtrademark to OpenGLAtrademark portability technology that allows Direct3D graphics commands to be executed on other systems, including inexpensive embedded systems based on the low-cost and low-power ARM architecture," said Vikas Gupta, CEO and President of TransGaming Inc. "This agreement exemplifies the pervasiveness of OpenGL on a spectrum of devices, including the majority of emerging consumer electronic devices, and the importance of TransGaming's core translation technologies in enabling graphics-based applications across platforms.
