TransGaming delivers translation tech to customer

2013-11-26 08:38 ET - News Release

Mr. Vikas Gupta reports

TRANSGAMING SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERS CORE TRANSLATION TECHNOLOGY TO PIONEERING CLOUD SERVICES PROVIDER

TransGaming Inc.'s licensing agreement for $1-million (U.S.), previously announced April 9, 2013, has been successfully delivered to its Fortune 1000 pioneering cloud services customer and payment has been received. This licensing agreement was based on the utilization of TransGaming's core translation technologies to enable select products to run on new platforms, including embedded System-on-Chip (SoC) based devices.

"We provided our customer with a version of our core Direct3DAtrademark to OpenGLAtrademark portability technology that allows Direct3D graphics commands to be executed on other systems, including inexpensive embedded systems based on the low-cost and low-power ARM architecture," said Vikas Gupta, CEO and President of TransGaming Inc. "This agreement exemplifies the pervasiveness of OpenGL on a spectrum of devices, including the majority of emerging consumer electronic devices, and the importance of TransGaming's core translation technologies in enabling graphics-based applications across platforms. Our intellectual property continues to be validated and we expect it to play an ongoing critical role for hardware and software companies that are striving to enable and enhance graphics capabilities on a broad assortment of devices and applications."

TransGaming has built a portfolio of proprietary technologies and deep intellectual property that enables games and graphics to deliver rich applications across different platforms, without the need for significant redevelopment. With the sheer multitude of devices that exist in the marketplace today, TransGaming's technology is gaining increased visibility and attention for the critical role it plays in
