RE:RE:Now we're killing B2Gold as well!
Abviously, there is much more to BTO than VTR, and it seems to me the market for BTO has hardly noticed VTR takeover.  Whatever shareprice movement has occurred since the announcement of the takeover has nothing to do with the takeover.  Similarly, while I also experienced the brutal treatment of VTR's share price by the market over the past few years, this was not a phenomenon unique to VTR or because VTR was the "most hated" stock on the TSX;  our experience was not unique;  ie. witness the Detour Gold's share price over the same time period.

Its a tough transition for the remaining VTR shareholders.  We have been taken over an amount of money which is much, much less than anyone who understands Volta could have predicted.  AT the same time, however, we become part of a much larger company, whose management was astute enough to see the value in VTR and has the means and resources to bring that value to the attention of the market.  The survival of the VTR projects is now assured.  Its a case of the glass being half full or half empty.  I would rather look to the future,  and I tend to think it is a good one.  I believe in the sector, I believe in the management and the projects BTO has, and I certainly believe in the management, projects, and land that BTO has acquired from VTR.
