RE:Perforations

RE:Perforations

I totally agree with you Bill.

I have a very strong suspiscion that sending a camera down the hole may have been requested by the operator (Schlumberger) and that they are bringing in their own tools/camera from out of country, which explains why getting the tool may take longer than expected.

The reason I believe this is because John Nelson has mentioned that IF they can prove that the perforations didn't work the first time, a second attempt would be made be the operator at their own cost. That leads me to believe that the tool is brought in primarily to satisfy the operator's request for proofs. (Which would most likely be normal procedure require by the head office before authorizing the costs associated with a second try).

John Nelson also mentioned that all parties involved came to the same conclusion: unsuccessful perforations. (We are not talking about roughnecks or floor hands here but a diversified team of experienced engineers and operators).

Just my 2 cents.
