Blasts from the Past...

Blasts from the Past...Disneyandbonds post on Tognetti led me to Google Tognetti, Garfield, & CEM to find out about their past relationship. The $25million financing in 2009 (blast #2), involved all the insiders of CEM who bought a lot of stock at $0.12. Tognetti bought 5,350,000 shares at this time. Apparently Tognetti dumped his shares the following year, creating what Vulture Bargain Update (blast # 1) called a "stupid cheap" price for CEM at $0.11.

I suspect that Tognetti plans to hold this time around and his involvement is another reason why risk is leaving this stock. I spoke to Garfield recently, after he returned from Japan. Livingstone, Chairman of the Board was invited on the trip along with Darwin, and it seems they were all treated like royalty by Dowa. Technically the most exciting news was that Dowa is very pleased with the metallurgy results from Palmer this summer (NR Nov. 4), as the results show that Dowa could mix ore from Palmer with their present concentrates and improve economics of metal extraction.
