RE:RE:RE:Squabbles So one of the biggest problems with investors in any stock, especially when we are focused on one very closely, is the problem with causality. We devote all attention to the movements and say management this and management that. But one thing that helps me with the causal depressions is to make an index of diamond stocks with your trading program (google finance is really good for this too). It helps with understanding the up and down days and can lend support to being able to decide if it is the micro(stock) or macro(sector) reasoning for price fluctuations. But try to have as many in there as possible because many folks will just try to compare Swy to MPV or PGD. Doesn't work like that, need to focus on the average of many!
And some are suggesting a pop in dec like last year.... I have a little hypothesis, won't know for sure if it is correct but if you look at last year it appears that some had some possible tax losses to garner and got scared and piled back in. Some saw minor positive movement and buying back in artificially mutliplied the momentum. The sector saw some positive movement last december but then SWY Shot up huge after the momentum was starting to realize. This year, most volume was on the uptrend so I don't think we will see too much tax reasonings for movement. Just a thought.
PS> Heckle and everyone else, just throw those posters on Ignore in lieu of responding. Really causes one to think twice about backing anti-bullying legislation, becuase they seem to justify getting mocked. I believe people refer to those kinds of posters as trolls.
Urban Dictionary Defines it as:
Someone with nothing worthwhile to add to a certain conversation, but rather continually threadjacks or changes the subject, as well as thinks every member of the forum is talking about them and only them. Trolls often go by multiple names to circumvent getting banned.
