Each year, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC ) produces an annual report on the sector based on the market capitalization of each company in June 30 This classification is made from the analysis of the case of more than 1,290 junior mineral resource companies.
For the 2013 edition , two companies in the region are found in the most interesting 100 , namely Pershimco ( 30th place ), which is headquartered in Rouyn- Noranda, and Metanor Resources ( 96th rank ) , whose office head is located in Val -d'Or. It is for Pershimco a third presence in as many years . In 2012 she was ranked 22nd and 93rd in 2011. About Métanor , she entered the charts in 2012 with a 82nd instead.
