RE:RE:RE:RE:Another Pig With Lipstick
Welcome back JB. Glad to see you're still reading the board and paying attention.
I have no axe to grind with you JB. In fact, I believe we probably have far more in common than you realize-- unless you are part of the fraud perpetrated by the person you seem to regard as a friend. Out here in Vancouver there are literally dozens of folks who have lost hundreds of thousands each following the "advice" of your friend. Their lives will never be the same. You yourself have apparently lost money. I think its time you lost the antagonistic attitude and got on board.
Are you once again allowing your buddy to post on your handle the way you did Dec 1,2013, "Notes from the AGM?" You didn't write that. You posted it on your handle for your buddy.
JB, I can assure you that any investor who has material information to provide at a criminal trial and is deemed by the RCMP as a reluctant witness will be held in custody until it is their turn to provide evidence under oath. This process is not uncommon. Its called a material witness warrant. In your case you will be at the top of the list to be interviewed by the RCMP. Here is your April 14, 2010 post:
"I have always thought of this forum as a place to get info out early so that people can act on it before it is common knowledge and of course with that there is the risk that it is not 100%."
In this post you claim you are posting inside information before it becomes common knowledge. I can assure you with a very high level of confidence that if this file ever goes to the RCMP you will be interviewed in the same style as Col. Russell Williams. Within minutes they will have you telling them everything you know about your buddy and how he conducted himself.
I believe you are a victim like the rest of us but still don't realize it. I understand that. The con man is highly skilled at this type of deception. But if you are part of the fraud you will need a lawyer. The courts will not be stymied but reluctant witnesses.
Your buddy is going to continue to marginalize anyone who speaks the truth. Thats the way people like him operate. He may very well be a sociopath. He will likely call you after reading this to reassure you and keep you on board. Don't be taken in by him. Wake up!
You may be aware he has very few if any real friends. He is a master manipulator of people in the same way Bernie Madoff is. Are you really on the side of a con man? If you are you need to examine your personal ethics.
As for the current situation we don't really know what Leung is up to. This is a guy who announced a financing claiming he was gong to use the money for production. The money was never used for the stated purpose. Did Leung apologize and return investors money?
"The proceeds of the Offering will be used to finance production, inventory, sales and marketing expenses, fulfilling product development and sales agreement and for general working capital." Paul Leung, August 15,2011.
While the financing was going on Empower was being sued by Pixon in San Diego. Leung never said a word until the lawsuit was settled. This is clearly material information that was illegally withheld by Leung. There are lots more examples of information being illegally withheld to chose from.
The point is we don't know what Leung is actually up to.
We have just seen how Leung quietly closed Empower's offices without informing the investors. What else is he up to that we have a legal right to know about but is withholding?
What will it take for you to realize you are protecting a fraudster?
Perhaps you need to hear your buddy on Youtube claiming he just read a signed copy of a contract between Empower and Magna on Alex R's Blackberry? Or perhaps you would like to hear him claiming he is so confident in Empower that he is buying Empower stock illegally and putting it into his girlfriends name? He even names her. This makes her a witness in a criminal trial. I don't think she deserves that or appreciates that. Those 2 not good enough for you? There are dozens more.
At this point a criminal trial is much more likely than Empower ever being successful. The con man has no integrity. Once he realizes he is facing a prison term his lawyer will likely try to make a deal in exchange for a reduced sentence. The con man will turn on any Empower executives who were aware of his criminal activities or participated in any way.
Get on board JB. We need you and want you. Otherwise you may find yourself in a very difficult position. I wish you well.
