RE:RE:Does anybody else...The more I read into it the more I am encouraged. the DO-27 bulk sample that then went onto valuation was comprised of.
DO-27 - Diamonds greater than half carat = 49
Do-27 - Diamonds greater than one carat = 13
And that was out of a sample of 544 dry tonnes of rock.
CH-6 - Diamonds greater than half carat = 137
CH-6 Diamonds greater than one carat = 48
In a sample of 222 dry tonnes
So a lot of the rock that made up the sample that went to valuation for DO-27 was rocks below a half carat and diamonds get more valuable the larger in size all other things being equal.
Four 0.25 carat diamonds do not come close to being as valuable as a 1 carat diamond if colour, clarity and cut(not hugely impactful to rough price) are considered
The deeper I dig the more I see merit in these high valuation claims.
