Ethiopian Potash Project

Product Line Supported By SBM

Located in Ethiopia's north-eastern Danakil depression, a desert area in the State of Afar, the potash project includes three potash concessions covering an area of approximately 150km2. It includes two deposits: the Mushley deposit and the smaller Crescent deposit.

Project

Owned by Allana Potash, the potash project deposit contains an estimated 105.2 million tons of inferred potash mineral resources. The composite grade of the resources has been estimated at 20.8% KCl.

The deposit will be mined using either solution or open pit mining methods. Crushing, grinding and screening in the project have adopted our machineries which are specially designed according to the project’s real situation.
