RE:Our watchdog on the boardMy understanding is that there are only 4 Board members. So, they did more than welcome our guys. They handed them the Company. Hopefully, the combination of Mr Watts and the new team will figure out a way to save ATK. There is a short window and a lot to do, but at least now we have a chance. As to why Hansar gave up so fast ......that is a question that we may never fuly resolve. Did they do a poor job with their DD and fnd out things that Kehoe did after it was too late? Did they underestimate the size of the hole the Company was in? Did they expect to get financing that never occurred.? If you go back and read the NRs from the Company leading up to the Proxy vote, someone was lying to someone and obviously the shareholders were misled.
Its quite a story. The Concerned (Dissident) shareholders group lost the vote . Lost the challenge in court (which they probably should have won but couldn't convince the Judge of the hanky panky that went on with the way the shares were voted). And after all of this --they wind up with control of the Company in a matter of a few short months. They are a very determined group of guys who seem to be motivated by what they saw happen to this Company. I fully believe what they said in yesterday's NR. They will be taking a very close look at what really went on in the infamous Suite 201. And whether Atikwa ultimate succeeds or fails, it should be interesting to find out just how bad things were. Maybe it's time for someone to take what's left of his ill gotten gains and head to a very small island.
