RE:RE:New Gold / Black WaterBigbab, you are so talented at slinging verbiage...  It shows that your intellect relies on that of trying to shame others.  Perhaps a meaningful discussion as to what I stated would show that perhaps instead of name calling you could provide further insight.  Here are some important topics to discuss with regards to the feasibility:
IRR is only 11% without any taxes applied.  What do you think it might be when you apply various tax rates?
What do banks, Analyst and other possible suitors look for with an IRR?
If project was so great, why have they deferred taking the next step to development?  
I agree that the economics change drastically with a $1600 gold price, but no one is using that number as a base case #, because gold has not had significant time trading at or above this value.  It is why in the base case they are using $1300, and if gold doesn’t turn around soon, the base case will change to even a lower number and you will most likely see even fewer deposits that actually look viable. 
I do believe some day this thing will be a mine, but given the current price of gold it is not viable IMO.
