ABI is the only stock I own at the moment. Bought some on march or april 2013 at around 10 cents. I've always been interrested in stocks and a friend of mine gave me the little push I needed to make my first transaction with abi. I do live in Québec but I didnt get the chance to go to the meeting (2-3 hour drive). A friend of mine went and was pleased with what he heard. Now I don't know much about mining but he was told the mine was labelled as "exploration" and should be labelled "exploitation" by the governement of Québec around next spring. They should then be able to publish more results... but that doesnt excuse the lack of dynamism shown in advertising the company and what is has accomplished so far. Here's what I will say that could be insightful: Mining in Québec is very controversial. the population are "socialist" like and "environnement friendly". I can understand why ABI wants to stay below the radars to avoid attention (I don't agree with that strategy but I understand it). Furthermore, the political party in power is the "parti Québecois", and beleive me folks, they sure gave mining companies a hard time. They pretty much scrapped in a year what the liberal party accomplished for the mining industry (LE PLAN NORD / THE NORTH PLAN). This plan had major governement investments in mining infrastructures along with generous Financial aid. the "parti quebecois" scrapped that and voted more severe laws for miners. the GOOD news is,: I beleive ABI is currently in total accordance to the news laws and has all the permits it needs (wich I beleive held the elder mine back for quite some time).
