Ms. Bev Funston reports

RAINMAKER MINING CORP. ANNOUNCES ENTRY INTO FRAC SAND BUSINESS

Rainmaker Mining Corp. has developed a business plan that will concentrate on the acquisition and development of high-quality silica sand deposits, suitable for supplying sand for hydraulic fracturing, with low capital and operating costs.

Rainmaker is currently performing due diligence on several potential acquisitions in this space.

In addition, the company is actively seeking other opportunities in related products.

Chris M. Healey, PGeo, a director of Rainmaker, commented, "The company has targeted the frac sands industry due to increasing demand, favourable economics, and the potential to acquire properties with anticipated low capex and opex."
