help sought -- about the 10k tonnes bulk sample the disagreement between Strathcona and Snowden about the ore body and the very high yield from the bulk sample makes understanding how the sample was selected seem very important. Would others explain how this would have worked?
It does seem that it was not one sample. How many was it in fact? and why do they call it a sample. If it was numerous samples could it have been vulnerable to a high grading bias in choosing the individual samples? Would it be normal and practical to mine the ore body in the same fashion as the samples were chosen? If not then actual mining operations would not likely yield results similar to those results reported for the bulk.
So, yes I am confused. Clarifications would be appreciated.
