RE:The markets are in crises Toasted

RE:The markets are in crises ToastedWith all due respect Kobe, the markets are not in crisis mode! They probably should be with all the quantitative easing and general manipulation of markets by the US Fed...but they're not......................................... When have you seen companies such as a Bitcoin (total junk IMO) spike from under $100 to $1200 on speculation alone...and Twitter IPO'ing at $26 in November spiking to as high as $60 Monday.................................... Is this the crisis mode you're talking about? Commodities are having a bit of a challenge here in our back yard...Crude is bottlenecked here in Canada, thus the deep discounts in the price Canadian O&G companies are receiving. the evolution of non-conventional energy (fracking, shale...etc). Crude prices are still very strong....and gas prices in other parts of the world are extremely strong...It's all just a matter of perspective. In the UK, I own shares in a couple companies that are presently getting $12/mcf. Not too shabby huh!? Gold is a different Hornets Nest....American's have been reluctant to invest in gold for a number of reasons; one of which was it's gov'ts virtual expropriation of gold from its citizens. " In 1933, U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt issued Executive Order 6102, which outlawed the private ownership of gold coins, gold bullion, and gold certificates by American citizens, forcing them to sell these to the Federal Reserve............https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Bullion_Depository. " .................. Point is...You can't generalize market sentiment. There are regional variations and influences for everything......... If STP were actually getting fair market value for it's crude, we'd have a different story here altogether. T2 (My apologies for all the periods, but I figured it would be easier to read that the big clusters of sentences as Stockhouse has been removing the formatting from my comments)
