RE:RE:RE:RE:Director just bought 30,000 of IBG.DB debenturesOh so now Harry says buying either the stock or bond is probably not a bad investment over the next year, this just after him saying dead money and accusing mgt of fraud and saying the company is garbage and telling me buying the bonds is a fairy tale. Looks like me buying the bonds at 32 cents last week was a smart move and maybve even IBG insider Mel Johnson read my post as he just bought them as well. Again , I have 20 years at trading and investing in bonds so I know a thing or two here.
Harry is now even seriously contemplating buying the bonds and even listening to what i said weeks ago that equity could ,I repeat could in a CCAA hit $0 or at least keep falling but bonds have limited to no downside so yes shorting the stock on a pop and buying the bonds would be a good strategy and something I already thought of and might do as well. Harry has spent hours looking at financials and has 40 years experience and uses this information to conclude the company is garbage but then he has a little informal chat with investor relations and all of a sudden now says not likely going bankrupt and stock and or bond is probably not a bad investment, kind of wishy washy no. I also see Harry still has conveniently ignored the fact that Nortel bonds soared even with the stock going to $0.
Ok ok , I take back the be a man comment in another post , agree it was uncalled for. Heh look, I am not happy either as I am down on my $2.6 stock buy but you dont see me on here trashing the company and Mgt who are trying to rectify things, did they make mistakes well of course but many people and companies make mistakes, they key is how do you respond to these mistakes and adversity. Would you rather they wrote down what they have over a 2 year period, I say better to do it all more quickly as they have and not prolong things.
