RE:RE:RE:RE:price of graphite.

RE:RE:RE:RE:price of graphite.Yeah i would totally agree with buntu on this one bigkagan,

Here's a quote from reasourceinvestor.com beginning early 2012 "Over the last five years prices of amorphous graphite have increased from about $250 a tonne to current prices around $550 a tonne, while some flake graphite prices have climbed from under $1,000 a tonne to, in some cases for large flake graphite, more than $2,500 a tonne."

also from the same source. "
“It's of interest to note that that this business has been driven lately by demand for lithium ion batteries and that market is increasing 20% to 40% per year,” Fulp said, noting that medium to fine flake graphite is mainly used for these batteries. “And what we're seeing is a concomitant increase in graphite prices.”

and again some more info "
Fulp said the supply and demand picture for natural graphite has been influenced by technological advances in the past few years that have increasingly allowed flake graphite to substitute for synthetic graphite.

“That's the key here,” he said. “We've made inroads with technological advances so instead of paying $10-$20,000 a tonne for synthetic graphite we can now use large flake graphite or flake graphite in many of these applications.”

So I would expect our amorphous to be sold at 250-450 and our flake depending on size and CG% after processing to be around the 1000-1900 range, if not greater; We probably will see cheaper then expected prices off the start in order to attract good solid off take agreements. Don't forget we have 3 amorphous mines and only 1 is in the test mine phase and now with the intent to purchase a flake open pit.

I think 3 million cap is still under shooting it greatly, I think it was a joke to be at 2 million even before this letter of intent; considering that other companys aren't even close to or even selling and have higher capex's then big north, they seem to be running up on hopes and dreams alone, while we make realistic goals and quickly march to make it happen in a timely manner, I feel very comfortable.

Best of luck to all shareholders and please dyodd; as i am wrong more often then I am right haha
