RE:Globe amd Mail (Suncor disappointed with Syncrude)

RE:Globe amd Mail (Suncor disappointed with Syncrude)It is hard to imagine that any of the Syncrude joint venture partners are anything but disappointed.  This holds true for the investors and employees no doubt.  So there is , and has been for some time, to put it mildly plenty of "disappointment".  The most important question is can production meet the design capacity, and from what I understand the industry partners are cautiously optimistic but are deferring any discussion about further expansion until that capacity is achieved. So in the short term I believe we will see improving production, then next year a big drop in capex and thereafter for many years we should see increasing production and only maintenance capex.  This should result in much much higher free cash flow and correspondingly much higher dividends and therefore a higher share price.   The fristrating past as bad as it has been should not represent the future. I am actually happy to read the partners are frustrated, more attention and pressure should give rise to the improved performance.
